Online Reservations 

• Reservation Deadline: The cutoff time to reserve an item for the upcoming Sunday is Saturday at 6:00 pm. Any reservations placed after 6:00 pm on Saturday will automatically roll over to the following Sunday's collection window.

• Reservations will be closed from 6pm Saturday until 8am Monday. This is to allow for a stocktake  during Sunday opening hours of items sold and no longer available to reserve.

• Collection Window: Eligible items reserved online will be held until the next available Sunday following your reservation date. You must collect and pay for your item in-store strictly between 9:00 am and 11:00 am on that Sunday.

• Expiration of Hold: If the item is not collected and paid for by 11:00 am on your designated Sunday, your reservation will automatically expire. The item will immediately be returned to our shop floor and made available for public purchase unless other arrangements have been made with staff.

• No Contract of Sale Online: Booking an item via our website constitutes a request to reserve the item only. No binding contract of sale is formed online. The contract of sale is created only when you inspect the item, agree to purchase it, and pay at our premises.

• In-Person Inspection: Because antiques are vintage, unique, and sold "as-seen," you must inspect the item in person at our shop prior to payment. By completing the purchase in-store, you accept the item’s condition, including any historic wear, age-related marks, or past repairs.

• Payment Terms: Payment must be made in full at our premises at the time of collection. We accept Cash or Bank Transfer only. For bank transfers, funds must clear in our account before the item can leave the premises. We do not accept online payments for reserved items.

• Cancellation by Us: We reserve the right to cancel any online reservation at any time prior to collection if the item becomes damaged or lost. We will notify you immediately if a reservation must be cancelled.

Intellectual Property & Website Content

• Ownership of Media: All content displayed on this website—including but not limited to item photographs, product descriptions, logos, graphics, text, and website design—is the exclusive intellectual property of Exquisite Lighting and Antiques and is protected by UK copyright laws.

• Restrictions on Use: You may not copy, reproduce, download, screenshot, republish, or redistribute any of our photos, logos, or text for commercial use, online marketplaces (such as eBay, Etsy, or Vinterior etc), without our prior written consent.

• Accuracy of Information: While we make every effort to ensure that product details, provenance, dimensions, and pricing on our website are accurate and up to date, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies, or omissions at any time without prior notice.

• Typographical and Pricing Errors: In the event that an item is mistakenly listed with an incorrect price or historical description, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any online reservations placed for that item, even if you have received an automated reservation confirmation email.

• Color and Appearance Disclaimer: Because our inventory consists of unique vintage and antique pieces, item colours and textures may vary slightly in person depending on your digital screen settings and photographic lighting. Website images are intended as a guide, and we highly recommend inspecting the item in person during your Sunday collection window.

Electrical Safety & Compliance 

• All antique and vintage chandeliers and lamps sold by Exquisite Lighting and Antiques have been professionally converted and rewired using new, certified components to meet current UK electrical safety regulations.

Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Exquisite Lighting and Antiques accepts no liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising from the improper use, installation, or alteration of our products after the point of sale.
